Opisom is an association whose members are fascinated in Somali
opinion based on survey research. We are committed to sound ethically accountable in the
conduct and use of opinion research in order to improve public understanding of research
methods and interpretation.
Opisom Somali opinion research, intends to build and
maintain archives available for commercial and independent surveys to its inhabitants,
through continuously adding new surveys to implore new facts from trends experienced by
the Somalis within and/or outside Somalia, who find them selves in any type of
organization/institution through every possible layer.
Opisom conducts Somali
opinion researches mainly through the internet. The data that we gather through the
researches are used for statistical analysis or trend analysis. Some of these data are
available for academic researchers, different media corporations on request. However,
other data are reserved merely for commercial purposes.
